Adoption of the IPMS/USA
Convention Management Program

After much discussion, IPMS/USA has decided to adopt/adapt the Convention Management Program developed by Bruce Briggs of Phoenix, Arizona to use for its national convention. As this program is already in existence and has a consistent track record of success wherever it has been used and since Bruce was willing to take on the task, it was decided to discontinue the search process early and move forward with this project with minimal delay. Bruce will be working with Mary Jane Kinney, our Office Manager, and Bob Hester, our Internet Coordinator, to ensure his program meets any additional needs of IPMS/USA. It is hoped to bring this new system on line within the next few conventions.

We believe this system will benefit all members of the Society as well as make the National Convention easier for the host chapters to manage by moving many of the data tracking/house keeping  tasks to the national level.
