Ron Bell During my tenure as 2nd VP, the national convention has continued to grow. However, it has gotten difficult for smaller chapters to act as host. To make the convention easier to handle, the E-Board and I have enacted a policy whereby as of the 2011 convention, all the financial aspects of the convention will be managed through the National Office. In addition, we have adopted and now require the use of a specific convention management computer system to make the convention easier to prepare for and administer. With the assistance and cooperation of the Phoenix chapter, we are working out the specifics of these changes for the 2011 show. I'd like to see these improvements through, so I hope I can count on your vote. |
