Hello from Baghdad, My name is SSG Michael Belue and I am currently serving in the Al Rashid district of Baghdad. To pass the time between missions I thought I'd create an environment where modelers and potential modelers could get together. We call ourselves the Camp Falcon Hobby Club even though we are actually FOB (Forward Operating Base) Falcon. We are a fairly new (two months running) but quickly growing club here in South Baghdad. I started this club with some kits donated from the Baghdad Hobby Club and a few kits from my own stash. We quickly grew past my limited capabilities of keeping us supplied as there is just not much to do here. My main reason for writing to you is to ask if you could post our club title and website www.falconhobbyclub.com on your support the troops page. We've had a few people contact us through HyperScale and made some very generous donations to our cause. These are greatly appreciated and have allowed us to continue our modeling efforts here.
