Fort Endurance

Hello all,

I've enclosed an address of a unit that is removed from the others in Iraq.  The Baltimore Chapter has sent about ten boxes to them but they could use more.  We are taking up another collection.  This unit has special meaning to us as one of our members is assigned and will be going over soon.  If you could pass out the address to your members I know they would appreciate it.  They have no PX so they need everything.

Mr. Werner,

When I arrived at my work station today at 1800, I was met by the 1SG.  He said he had been patiently waiting for me - I had three boxes arrive today and he was excited to look at the models. (He had his eye on a model kit from the first delivery, only to have it taken by another soldier.) So he was anxious to look at the models. Fortunately the kit he wanted was also in this shipment.

What a sight to behold - the excitement displayed by the men as they discuss and choose a model kit is equal to that of women at an after-Christmas sale. Some of the Soldiers are avid hobbyists or have worked in hobby shops and truly appreciate the value and uniqueness of the models.

Thank you for sharing the model kits with us.  Your thoughtfulness is truly appreciated.

As with my reviews, please use it or forward to anyone that may be able to help these people.  I know it is so cliché, but remember freedom don't come free.  Thanks for the help.
