Chapter of The Year: Each of the 11 Regional Coordinators selects one chapter in their Region which they consider most deserving of the award. This list of Chapters is presented to the IPMS/USA Executive Board by the Director of Local Chapters and the winning Chapter is selected by a vote of the Board.

Newsletter of the Year: The IPMS/USA Journal Editor reviews each Chapter's Newsletter and selects the winning Chapter. The criteria considered for selection are:

  • Layout/Design

  • Readability (ease of reading the pages)

  • Local Participation

  • Promotion of IPMS/USA National Membership

Region Coordinator of The Year: The Region Coordinator of the Year is selected by the Director of Local Chapters, based on several aspects of their performance. Among the areas reviewed are the RC’s level and quality of activity with the DLC, the level of RC's efforts in coordinating Contests and Shows with the DLC, the degree of assistance afforded to the DLC in the formation of any new Chapters, and the level to which the RC keeps their Chapters informed of happenings between the DLC and the Regions.

Webmaster of the Year: Each Chapter Website is reviewed by the IPMS/USA Internet Coordinator for the following criteria:

  • Have promoted their Chapter in a manner that reflects credit on IPMS/USA.

  • Have been listed on the IPMS/USA Chapter Directory at least one year.

  • Have consistently demonstrated support of, and cooperation with IPMS/USA National and Regional efforts.

  • Have consistently kept page current though regular updates.

  • Maintained enhanced page appearance, content, and responsiveness

  • Maintained a minimum of advertising content.

The IPMS/USA Internet Coordinator then compiles a list of the ten most qualified Websites, which is presented to the IPMS/USA Executive Board. The winning Chapter Website is then selected by vote of the Board and Website Staff. The list of 2004 Finalists may be viewed HERE.
