We all know of Plusmodel’s wonderful 1/35 Resin,
photo-etched, printed accessories, and full kits. I jumped at the chance
to review the kits that John offered. I love their work and unfortunately
can usually only find them on EBAY or I have to order them from a European
outfit. This kit is a simple and well detailed accessory. It only consists of two resin parts. No instructions or painting guide and that is the kit. The base is a simply piece and lends itself to either a European roadside shrine or as a wall mounted setting for the inside of a church. The top half can be used in the above examples with the base or with some good imagination can be used to emplace the top half as an alter centerpiece or a wall mounted cross. The oblong stone below the crucifix can either be hollowed out for a different appearance all together or simply paint it a non-stone color for a different appearance. I have no idea what this costs in dollars. After an extensive internet search, I only found European dealers that carry this item. However, Internet Hobbies does carry other Plusmodel items. |
