| Eagle Press is an Italian
company specializing in modeling magazines, and they recently sent a copy
of their aircraft modeling magazine, Ali In Miniatura, for review. Issue 22 is 64 pages, all in full color. The magazine begins with a selection of kit, book and accessory reviews. These are followed by 4 build reviews and articles, each followed by a walk-around of the actual aircraft. In addition, one of the articles features a page of full-color profiles by Richard Caruana. In this particular issue is a report on an Italian model show, and each issue also features a junior modeler column – this issue deals with resin parts. With the understanding that the text is in Italian, I can recommend these publications for their useful photos and well-built models. I was not given any details on availability in the US, but Eagle Press has a website at http://www.aliminiatura.it/ where more details are available. |
