Cost: $6.99 USD One thing I hate the most about modeling late war Bf-109s is masking the Erla canopy. It is so much of a pain to get the sweep of the panes correct that it is often left to the very end. That little issue has been solved by Black Magic. You get masks that are specifically designed for the G-10/K-4 kits. Beware: You cannot use this on your G-14 canopy, as it is a different shape. Why Hasegawa designed a new canopy when they had it correct the first time is beyond me but this set will only work with their G-10 or K-4. Masks are included for the main and front canopy sections and the wheels. This is nice because by this time of the war the wheels were often left unpainted instead of the usual Gloss Black. The tail wheel is not overlooked either and a mask is included for it as well. Remember to follow the instructions and remove some of the stick with your hands and this set will work great. I highly recommend this set to relieve the pain of doing it yourself. I do not like to mask late war canopies without the expert help of Black Magic.
