I recommend that for the
building of the kit that you follow the steps as written. Care should be
taken with the wheel sections as they can be a bit tricky and must be
tested for level several times for alignment. If you don’t check them I
can promise your kit will not sit right
The hull sections fit
very nicely with just a touch of filler at the edge corners to fill minor
gaps. I added the various tool boxes after the fenders were attached for
ease of positioning. All other parts fit well with the exception of the
headlights.
Small holes must be
drilled with a pin vise for their placement and fit between the license
plates and hull. It is best to add these last, as they may interfere with
the placement of the mufflers and license plates.
I painted my kit with a
gray base color from Model Master paints. For the wheels and machine gun I
used Polly S Scale Black. After drying I brushed on Future Floor Wax in
the places where my decals were to be added, and let it dry before their
addition. I chose the Polish Campaign markings. The kit was then given the
usual washes and dry brushing.
Bottom Line: Very nice
small scale kit and good for the novice to cut his teeth on. The more
advanced will change several items and add a few more and will have one
outstanding kit! A sure winner in my book. |
