The first thing I noticed when getting issue 41 was the cost. A quick look on the internet and even though the yearly subscription rate has stayed the same, the new price per issue is now at $15.00. This is not a hit on the magazine at all. Just stating the fact that the "pick it up at your local shop" price might be increasing. Of course it is also a reflection of our declining dollar. Once again this issue is full of amazingly built models. This issue is definitely a keeper as it has a two part build on the MAZ-537 with a BTS-4A (T-55 based) recovery vehicle. Actually there is another second issue build called Steel Beast. This is a scratch built Mark VIII liberty tank inspired by the Indiana Jones movie. There is also a scratch built Vomag mounting an 88mm and a beautifully finished KV II.
