Since I reviewed issue number 37, the US Dollar has dropped 7 cents. The issue is an excellent bonus for me because it contains an article that I would have bought this magazine for alone. I really miss the fact that American Eagles closed. She used to carry this fine magazine and no one else locally does.

This issue contains an article titled Unleash The Beast which is about the Israeli Defense Force's Nagmachon. For those not in the know, this is a heavily modified High-intensity conflict personnel carrier based on the Centurion. The conversion uses Cromwell Models conversion kit.

Listed below are a summary of the different articles contained in this issue.
  1. F plan – Adam Wilder demonstrates his color modulation painting technique.
  2. Clerveaux Chateaux Part Two – Beautiful scratch built diorama.
  3. Unleash the Beast – IDF Nagmachon.
  4. Churchill on a Church Hill – Churchill armor diorama.
  5. Xtreme Detail – PT-76 photographs.
  6. Keeping Track – Latest release information.
  7. Short Tracked – King Tiger diorama.
All three of the dioramas are EXCELLENT. The Chateaux is absolutely gorgeous. I can't imagine spending two years working on a diorama. The results are well worth it. The PT-76 photos are definitely designed at the model builder. Of course, the Nagmachon is my personal favorite and looks great. Overall, another great issue from this company. I really enjoyed this whole magazine and would recommend it to anyone. If you like this type of magazine, you can easily subscribe at www.afvmodeller.com.
