Just when you thought it was safe to come out of hiding from the Tigers, Panzer Graph springs out at you with a special on Tiger tanks from several well known model companies.  Interesting enough, we seem to never get enough of our favorite cat and this issue gets the planning juices flowing again.  Only this time several of the newest kits in 1/48 scale are highlighted.

There are about 8 pages of color side views including color charts.  Several pages of camouflage masking on a few of the intricate models produced for you and box art of all the big hitters of yesteryear and current kits.  There are several dioramas that are pretty well done.  Always a learning tool they are and a few that will just knock your socks off.

One of the most surprising aspects of this issue is a little ditty on field kitchens.  Not only are there some cute build up's but an actual recipe section with pictures of the actual food made.  Authentic cooking supplies and hardware are also on display between the heavy paper.  Well done and it almost makes me hungry.  There are also some distribution drawings that makes the modeler understand how and where the food was dispersed from the factory to the men in the field.  Very interesting stuff here. In addition there are several fine drawings highlighting this action just yearning to be unleashed in diorama form.

Although the entire text is in Japanese, I still found this Issue to give you more than what you knew before looking it over.  It's not everyone's cup but I like it.  If you like to build Tigers, pick this one up!  Thanks to Model Art for the sample and John Noack for sending it my way!
