This is the first time I've seem this Japanese modeling magazine, and I am duly impressed. It is more properly classified as a soft-cover book. The photography, content, and production value is first-class across the board. Despite the Japanese text, the multitude of step-by-step photos translate well into how the projects were achieved, and "how-to" ideas are abundant.

Although the majority of the text is in Japanese, thanks to detailed photo essays, it is easy to pick up tips shown in the "how-to" style of progression. It does include an English section explaining in detail what has gone into the building the models featured in the major articles.

Panzer Graph! Issue 11 features 132 pages and over 500 color photos in an A4 sized book. Japanese text with small English translation in the back of the magazine.

This issue features Armored Combat Vehicles in the following articles:

Main article

  • Dragon 1/35 Sd.Kfz.250/1 Neu
  • Italeri 1/35 Bofors 40mm AAGun
  • JP Hobby 1/35 Skoda PA-2 Turtle
  • AFV Club 1/35 M1126 ICV Stryker
  • Zvezda 1/35 Soviet Armored car BA-10
  • Italeri 1/35 Autoblinda AB40 Ferroviaria
  • Hobby Boss 1/35 M4 High Speed Tractor. Hot off the line pulling a 1/35 Italeri 40mm Bofors on the trailer in a winter diorama. Some outstanding work depicting some guys building a snowman.
  • Tamiya 1/48 US M8 Light Armored car Greyhound
  • Bronco 1/35 T17E1 Staghound A/C MK.I (Late) with the photos of the staghound in Bovington Tank Museum
  • Zvezda 1/35 German personnel carrier Sd.Kfz.251/1 Ausf.B

Sub article (New Kit review)

  • Tamiya 1/35 JS-2. It's a very classy build that depicts a stationary tank at the bottom of a bridge with a German Boy with his dog, a Russian Tanker holding a machine gun... and Granny with a cane. The Dog is going ballistic and the Russian Soldier
  • Zvezda 1/35 Soviet heavy tank KV-1. The builder did a great job with a very low key weathering job. I can never get enough of well built kits. I get a different perspective of older kits whenever someone else does quality work like this. The green base on this heavy tank really stands out.
  • Trumpeter 1/35 German 17cm Grille
  • Tasca 1/35 US Medium Tank M4A1 Sherman (mid)
This is a quarterly series that every avid scale modeler will want to have on their bookshelf. This is a large format magazine printed on glossy, heavy stock. Heavy card covers. Highly recommended!
