Osprey's latest Modelling addition is for the venerable Tiger. Thanks in particular to Dragon Academy and Tamiya, model builders now have a HUGE selection of Tiger models to pick and choose from. The Book is soft covered and 80 pages long.

There are a number of authors included in this one. Gary Edmundson, Steve van Beveren, Dinesh Ned, Darren Thompson, and David Parker all played a part in formatting this tome. The book is broken down into an introduction, six kit vehicle builds, a models available section, Tiger I websites and a further reading section.

All six of the builds are great. I did notice that this book does not have the huge abundance of styrene plastic in it as previous ones. I have to assume that this means that the kit manufacturers are building better kits nowadays. However, half of the vehicles portrayed required at least two or more kits to bash them together. All of the models are exquisite. The work and attention to detail were incredible. All of the builders did excellent work. They discussed the build well and took ample photographs to show what they did and where they did it.

This is another great read and knowledge database book for anyone considering building a well built Tiger I. I would like to thank Heather Feinstein of Osprey Publishing and IPMS/USA for the ability to read and review this fine book.
