It served in all Theatres, in all climates and weather. Anywhere the German army went, so went the Kubelwagen. The photos in this book prove that last statement. There are some truly amazing shots here. Fans of weathering will find a lot to work with here, mud, dust, and snow. You name it, and there is probably a picture showing a Kubel in it. Inspirations for dioramas abound in this volume. Unfortunately there are no color photos. Text includes a short history of the Kubel's development, specifications and descriptions of the various components, and excerpts from test reports, and operators manuals. This is a highly enjoyable book and I recommended it to anyone interested in this amazing little car. I would like to thank Schiffer Publishing and IPMS/USA for the opportunity to review this book.
