Oh how our hobby sometimes brings back memories. When John offered these up review, I immediately jumped on the chance. Many years ago (actually, it was only four), I was on EBAY looking for Sherman reference material. Toadman's Sherman CD Volume one was one of my first EBAY purchases. The Sherman CD was FULL of different and varied Sherman and Sherman variants. During the four years that have passed, some things on the CDs have changed and some haven't. There is a slight picture format change but the quality and quantity of the pictures has only gotten better.

For those of us who have way too many vehicle-specific books, these CDs are an excellent alternative to thumbing or paging through each book looking for that one close up shot. All you do is slide it into your computer and click on the shot you are looking for. It really is that easy. The prices per CD can't be beat over the cost of the books as well.

The two CDs I received have over 230 full color pictures of each of their respective subjects. Both of these vehicles are fully restored and were taken at the Jacques Littlefield Museum. The photographs are all crisp, clear, and well photographed. The average file size of each photograph is a good 800k. These disks are formatted to work with Windows, Mac, and UNIX operating systems.

Other CDs currently in his collection include the LVT(4), Matilda MK IV, M5A1 Stuart, M3A1 Stuart, M5 Stuart, M551 Sheridan, M4A3(76) HVSS & M4A2(76) HVSS, Sturmgeschutz III Ausf. G, British Anti-tank Guns of WWII, German Anti-tank Guns of WWII, T34-76 & T34-85, M18 Gun Motor Carriage & M39 Armored Utility Vehicle, and the 105mm M7, M7B1, & M7B2. These are all well worth the price of the CD and you won't regret getting any of them.

I would like to personally Thank Chris "Toadman" Hughes and IPMS/USA for making these Excellent CDs available for review. Keep up the great work Toadman.
