I was somewhat reluctant to review this magazine, being written primarily in Japanese. But, after it arrived my reluctance quickly vanished. This is a very nice publication and I can only hope that it, or one like it, eventually is published in English. There are 156 pages of beautifully shot and reproduced photographs. They are mostly of armor models, which have been built and finished to an extremely high standard. There are photos of other model types, and even thought they are in the minority, the are of the same quality and certainly varied: a build article on the new Eduard Bf 110 (if only I could read the text, I suspect this is a well-written and informative article), a Hino Selga super hi-decker bus, HMS Hood, Special Hobby's X-15, a Honda F-1 model, and a number of pages showing latest releases for decals, after-market parts, publications, etc. This issue, in the main, is devoted to armor big caliber weapons with very nice comparison artwork and, I'm sure, some history buried within the kanji. Of particular interest to me is the article on Trumpeter's kit, the "Entwicklungstfahrzeug E10, An expulsion tank in the German 'E Plan'". Great photos! I think I need one, but I would like to see a review in English.

For the excellent artwork and photography and the extent of coverage I think this is a worthwhile publication even if you can't read Japanese. Recommended. Thanks to Dragon USA and IPMS-USA for the review copy.
