MSRP: $15.00 Web Site: www.afterburnerdecals.com One of the first colorful schemes for the F-18Fs was for the 2007 CAG of the VFA-102 "Diamondbacks". The plane had red tails and a red spine with a white diamond pattern. Afterburner Decals duplicates that scheme here and includes decals for six total planes: · Bureau number 165894 from 2007. September of 2007. The CAG Bird, she wears full color national insignia and squadron markings consisting of red tail with a chord wise white band, a red spine with six white diamonds, and a diamond stripe across the nose and center fuel tank. · Bureau number 165882 from 2007. This is a "Heritage Jet" flown by VFA-102's Commanding Officer. In similar markings as the CAG Bird except that her vertical tails are normal color and wear a solid red top with hi-viz and full color markings. · Bureau number 165887 from 2007. A line bird. All of markings are in lo-viz grays and black. · Bureau number 165892 from 2007. Another line bird with lo-viz markings. · Bureau number 165890 from 2007. Another line bird with all lo-viz markings. · Bureau number 165888 from 2005. A line bird with lo-viz markings but darker. There are two decal sheets including markings for two planes. Both sheets are very nicely printed by Cartograph and include stencils. As far as directions, there are full color side views of all aircraft with a top view showing the color scheme. The red colored spine and tails have to be masked and painted and I did not see color call out on the red. A sheet for adding stenciling the planes and ordnance location is also included These are excellent sheets and I have seen one actually built and it looks great. Highly recommended.
