MSRP: $11.50 each Review sample courtesy of Bob Sanchez of Two Bobs Decals (www.twobobs.net) The first thing that struck me was the packaging. Plastic bags, yes, but nice plastic bags. Heavy weight, plenty of room to get the contents in and out, but not so much that the decals and documents rattle around inside. Clear too, so you can easily see what's inside. Minor points, perhaps, but speaking of quality none the less. I hate certain un-named manufacturers that insist in a tight fit for their merchandise in those teeny bags. Takes forever to get the dang stuff out, and, good luck getting it back inside unbent, folded or mutilated. Inside these commodious bags are a decal sheet, or two in some cases, and a very nice folded document in crisp color and accurate registration (gee, pretty much like the decals except for the fold) showing various configurations and markings for the planes the decals are meant to adorn. You get real photos as well as well-done line drawings, showing the placement and color of the prototype aircraft. There are suggested color guides for painting the aircraft as well listing examples of various paints from Testors, Humbrol, Gunze and Xtracrylics. No Tamiya… must have been an oversight on Bob's part. Eh, Bob? Now for the meat of the review. Decals are notoriously fine, great color, perfect registration of all the parts, and it is damned hard to find carrier film on these things. 48-135 F-15C Too Cool For School Eagles Markings for two complete aircraft from the 57th Wing, Fighter Weapons School, Nellis AFB, NV. 48-145 JAS-39A/C Colorful Gripens Markings for three complete aircraft from the Sweden!
