MSRP: ~$20.00 Website www.aires.cz Aires, a Czech Republic firm established in 1995 to provide aftermarket detail sets, has come to the rescue with a finally detailed and well cast set for the Electronic Bays, both port and starboard for the A-7D. I opened the cartoon and was astonished by the clean and detailed casting. There was no flash and no cleanup required for the two bays. The only part that will require any work will be the RAT (Ram Air Turbine). With a little fine wire and/or solder for the wiring, these little gems will look real nice. The sets fit in the existing bays on the kit with NO filler required. I just dropped them in for a test fit and the photos show it all.

Compared to the original parts (which are lacking in the detail aspect) these will make an impression with a WOW factor of 4 on a scale of 5. This set will be a useful addition to the long list of detail sets already made for this kit. My only complaint is I wish that they would have included the bay doors. My thanks to IPMS/USA and Aires for the sample to review and I would HIGHLY recommend it from the beginner to the expert for ease of use. Can't wait to get started on the kit.
