1/48 F-117A Nighthawk Cockpit Set For the Tamiya kit

MSRP: $23.95 Web Site: www.aires.cz Aires makes exquisite cockpit sets and this latest for Tamiya's F-117 is no exception. The kit cockpit and ejection seat are OK but this is another level! As Aires web site says- "Welcome to the world of heavy details". Lets take a look at what's in the detail set. The set is comprised of a resin cockpit tub, ejection seat, instrument panel and a small sprue containing the stick, throttle and two cylinders. Casting is perfect. There is also a PE fret and film for the HUD. The PE fret contains about 25 parts including seat belts, HUD frame, miscellaneous instrument panel details and two deflectors. Instructions are good but there is a little surgery to do as the back of the kit cockpit needs removed. The detail in the cockpit is superb and will just need a good paint job. This is another excellent offering from Aires - highly recommended. My thanks to David Lajer and Aires for the review sample.
