1/48 F-18 Hornet Electronics Bay For the Hobby Boss kit

MSRP: $23.50 Web Site: www.aires.cz This Aires kit consist of fourteen resin pieces, and thirty-eight photo-etched parts on a single fret . The resin parts are left and right electronics bays and twelve internal door latch assemblies. These parts are cast in dark gray resin with flawless detail, little if any finish sanding will be required before assembly and painting. The photo-etched parts are two frame assemblies , six door assemblies , twelve door support rod hinge brackets and eighteen support rod stowing brackets , while you will only need six each of the last two parts , because of their minute size Aires included plenty extra to mess up and/or feed to the carpet monster . The instructions with this kit are very clearly printed, easy to understand and break down the build into eight steps. These detail kit will be used in a Pax River test Bug called D'Skunk and will include an Aires Radar detail kit and Afterburner decal set. The complete multi-review coming soon.
