Limitations in plastic do restrict some of the detail that can be accomplished, but Eduard takes care of all your requirements. First up is the complete detail set (48-388) which contains two frets of photoetch. One fret is the same as the set available in the Zoom offering. This fret contains a pre-painted instrument panel, seatbelts and the required wheel hubs. As a Zoom set this is a very nice addition to your model. The basic set contains another fret which has the interior side panels, framework, as well as, additional exterior parts making this a required upgrade for the Mig-3. Still want more to set your Mig-3 apart from the rest? How about lowered flaps? Eduard's Flap set (48-574) is uniquely designed and very subtle in its representation. The set contains enough photo etch to articulate the four flaps. The detail on these flaps has to be seen. The stiffeners are accurately represented. This set will make a dramatic difference in your model. The one chore I always hate is masking canopies. Eduard has the "Kabuki" tape masks which fit perfectly to the Trumpeter kit. If you want to use them on another kit you may have to modify the mask, but when used on the kit it is designed for they are perfect. Eduard continues to produce the highest quality photo-etch and these sets are no exception. These sets are very nicely executed and will add a lot of detail to your Trumpeter Mig-3.
