1/32 P-47 Gun Barrels For the Hasegawa kit

MSRP: $6.70 Review items graciously supplied by Quickboost. Quickboost produces a large number of high quality after market parts for a wide variety of models. I had the opportunity to use their 1/32nd gun barrels, recommended by Quickboost for the 1/32 Hasegawa P-47. The eight barrels arrive in a clear package, all attached to a strong plastic runner, from which they can be removed easily and quickly without leaving a nub at the attachment point. No sanding is required. The barrels are already the proper length to fit on the Hasegawa P-47 without any adjustment necessary. Each barrel has a small locating peg that slips into a hole in the wing root. This peg provides a solid attachment point and guarantees proper alignment of the barrels to each other and to the wing. The barrels are of a uniform diameter and have no discernable seams. The business end of the barrels features an opening giving the barrel a "drilled out" appearance. The barrel walls are clean, smooth, and the bore is centered on all eight barrels. The barrels come from the package without the need for any clean up or sanding. It only took 15 to 20 minutes to prime and paint the barrels, and then to glue them into position on the model. If you've never used a Quickboost product I can recommend that you do so. If you are going to build the Hasegawa P-47 (1/32nd) I recommend that you use this specific Quickboost product. They are an excellent and inexpensive way to enhance your project.
