1/48 Ju-87B Exhausts For the Hasegawa Ju-87B

MSRP: $5.95 Available online including directly from manufacturer at www.quickboost.net or www.modelchoice.net . This product in 1/48 scale consists of the right and left exhausts for a Ju-87B. The package is a clear bag, revealing the product within. Quick boost suggests that the product is best suited for the Hasegawa Ju-87B.

A previously assembled Hasegawa Ju-87 was used as a "test bed" for the Quick boost product. The stacks are very well molded with no need to scrape or remove flash. There was no seam line visible on the sample. The stacks were removed from the "sprue" by using a flush cut nipper. The extra plastic on the stacks was removed with some sandpaper and the parts were attached to a previously assembled and completed epoxy power plant using super glue.

The time lapse from opening the package to "finished project" was about 10 minutes. I experienced no difficulties with this product. The fit is excellent. The stacks are well formed. The ends of each tube are "open" so no drilling is required. I highly recommend this product for its quality, simplicity or application, and finished appearance. If you are looking for a quick and easy way to add "detail" to your Ju-87B then this product is exactly what you are looking for.
