Web Site: www.quickboost.net In continuing their release offerings of beautifully cast aftermarket accessories, the latest 3 in quarter inch scale are no exception in quality to most everything I've seen coming from them. Cast in grey resin, they are crisp, without pinholes or warps and are in general exact replacements for the kit parts: QB 48-184 - P-47D Thunderbolt Engine (early) for Tamiya. MSRP: ~$12.00. This is typical of other QuickBoost engines I have used and only require the addition of the oil return tubes and spark plug wiring if desired. Absolutely beautiful ! QB 48-186 - F4U-7 Corsair Exhaust for Hasegawa. MSRP: ~$6.00 These are pre- drilled replacement parts for the kit and are nicely done in the extreme, well worth having ! Beautifully cast without ejector pin marks, pin holes or warps (if these will fit the Tamiya kit, I will use them on the "Arctic Aggressor" review segment coming soon. These folks have yet to disappoint me in their selection of "pieces parts" offered to the modeling community in all scales. We can only hope they keep up the great work!
