Quickboost is a line of resin "corrections" produced by Aires of the Czech Republic. If you look at the Quickboost web site, you find the page after the index (main) page is a list of "winners" who have suggested subjects for Quickboost projects. The idea appears to be to turn out [review image] corrections that AMS sufferers just can't live without, and since they seem to have a LONG list of winners, it's marketing genius. You want the correct prop for your 1/72 P-47? They offer 2 Curtiss props, and a Hamilton Standard. Look at their web site. There's something in there that you NEED to improve your next project.

So here's the "new improved, superior" product for your B-26. The resin work on these gun barrels is wonderful. In a very literal sense. I wonder how they manage to get such fine detail in such dinky little parts. But they do it. Note the muzzle holes. In 1/72. Heck, I had to get my magnifiers out to SEE them!

[review image] And they fit on the aircraft just dandy. The upper gun pack is the Quickboost item; the lower one is the stock part from the Airfix kit. When you realize that the cooling holes on the Airfix barrels are raised, you begin to appreciate how much the Quickboost parts can improve your model.

Thanks to IPMS/USA and Quickboost for the review parts.
