Usually they are just round shells with no straps or suspension inside. The SKP Model set provides not only that missing detail but nice thin realistic looking helmets. |

The package includes 5 brass helmets that require no clean up. Also included is a small photo etch fret with the straps and two piece suspension. The PE is painted on one side, which is great but for the straps and head band you will still need to paint the other side. The suspension assembly is a bit tricky getting it to the required diameter to fit properly into the helmet, but other than that is rather straight forward. Once assembled the helmet looks great and should be a boost to the look of your figures or stowage on your armor builds. I can easily recommend these. Thanks to SKP Model for the review sample. |
