The first thing I noticed about the kit when I opened it was the impressive amount of parts for a 1/72 artillery piece. There are 67 parts in the kit molded in a beige styrene. No decals are included and the instructions are laid in 11 steps.

The parts are nicely detailed for this scale. The tires come as layers and are mounted on late pressed type wheels, the gun shield is a two parts and there are several very small parts such as grab handles.

The build up is actually completed rather quickly and the only real problems I had was handling the smaller of the parts. Once installed though they really add to the overall appearance. There were a couple of sink marks on the gun breach but these are quickly taken care of. The barrel is solid on the end and you may opt to drill it out. Attachments on the stabilizers such as grab handles are not over scaled looking so the plastic parts should be easily used.

Over all this was a pretty good kit to build, I spent a little bit of a weekend doing it so it makes for a great filler project in between larger projects or as a quick break in the middle of one.
Recommended.

My thanks to Roden and IPMS/USA for the kit
