MSRP: €31.50 EUR Fontegris Miniatures has been ever expanding their line of figures to Sci Fi and Fantasy and I have the luck of getting to review their “Pale Moon Tales” vignette. The kit is multimedia with a resin cast base and “Mr. Mushroom Man” and the Fairy Princess figure cast in white metal. Castings are excellent for both with very few seam lines and only a few air bubbles on the top of the mushroom. Total metal parts are five. After some small seam removal, I primed the kit with Floquil primer and let it sit for two days. The kit is base coated with acrylics and shading was done with oils. The arms were left off of the little man until he was painted. This a great kit and could be a great weekender to have some real fun with, no sanding and seam filling, just pure painting. I recommend this to all the figure painters out there looking for a well-done project with a neat subject.
