MSRP: £19.99 GBP From a Galaxy Far, Far Away (actually it is Europe) comes the Republic Star Destroyer of the Venator-Class. This spaceship carries a crew of 7,400, has a top speed of 12,000 kph, and a length of 1137 m. This kit carries a crew of 7.400 very small clones, has 74 parts, is 504 mm in length and is suitable for ages 10 and up. This kit comes with three tins of Revell paint, brush, and glue. However, the instructions call for the following paints to paint the model like it shows on the box-top:
The instructions are pictorially depicted for each assembly step with part number call outs and paint color indicators. Of the 6 new Star Wars kits from Revell, this is the only one that is a standard glue kit. The other 5 are Revell easykit™ - requires no paint or glue. For more information see Star Wars web site or the Revell Germany web site. One comment from Revell's web site that caught my eye was "Please use Revell polystyrene cement from the CONTACTA series". Did not see anything in the instructions about the glue, so this maybe just an ad on the web site. | |
