This Czech made antitank gun was used heavily by the German Army early in WWII, being both very effective for its time, and readily available after the annexation of the Czech manufacturing facilities.

The kit is one of the first 1/35th ventures for Attack Hobby Kits that I'm aware of, most of their previous armor releases having been in 1/72nd. The kit is supplied in an end opening, plain white box with an adhesive label attached to the top. All parts are tightly packed in one small Ziploc bag. Surprisingly, all of them, save one, were intact and still attached to their pour stubs. The details are fairly sharp though some flash will need to be cleaned up. Many of the smaller parts (cylinders, support rods, adjustment wheels, etc.) will require careful removal from the casting stubs keep them from breaking.

As pictured on the box, the kit is designed to be built in the stowed or traveling configuration only. A review of the instructions does not reveal any alternate build options, so if you would choose to build it in a firing configuration then modifications would be required.

The instruction sheet is definitely not for a beginning builder. A series of 3 exploded view drawings with thick black lines crossing, merging and going around and around shows parts placement. The breakdown is in 3 main groups and should be fairly straightforward after some careful study time is spent looking over the assembly diagrams and an attack plan laid out for the build sequence. Color references are very limited, with Panzer Grey being called for on the gun components and Field Gray on the 9 ammo cans.

The resin is quite easily worked as it's not too brittle. This should aid in the removal of the small detail parts previously mentioned.

Though not a beginner's kit, anyone with some patience and experience on resin kits can now add an important early war anti-tank gun to their collection. I hope to be able to add a full build review of this gun in the near future.

Thanks to Attack Hobby Kits for their review sample and IPMS USA for the privilege to review this new item.
