1/72 A-1H Skyraider (Navy) Wheels & paint masks For the Hasegawa kit

MSRP: $7.50 Website: www.aires.cz Aires provides a single casting with the two main wheels and paint masks. The resin wheels are finely cast in a light grey resin and can be easily removed from the casting block. I was curious how the Aires wheels differed from the Hasegawa kit wheels so I placed them side-by-side, front and rear in a photo for you to see. Aires wheels have more details on the back side, deeper spokes on the front and not to mention better defined and deeper circumferential grooves on the tires. As for the paint masks the process is simple and clearly shown on the instruction sheet. If you follow it the results as seen in the photo is a nicely painted tire. The masks were easy to put on and remove and left no residue. If you want a more accurate Skyraider model then this set will certainly be a step in the right direction.
