1/32 Bf110 Detail Items For the Dragon kits

Part 32628 Cockpit interior, MSRP: $26.95 Part 32629 Seat belts, MSRP: $19.95 Part 32217 Wheel wells, MSRP: $22.95 Website: www.eduard.cz Fresh off the photoetch lines at Eduard are three sets for the Dragon Bf110C. The sets are a cockpit set with color and standard photoetch but no seat belts. The seat belt sets are separate. Last, there is an exterior set which has enhancements for the wheel wells One set of the cockpit interior set is rendered in color and will bring out the instrument panel, side wall consoles and other detail, rudder pedals, etc. in great detail. "Scratching" off the present instrument faces from the kit supplied instrument panel is challenging but worth it especially the instrument panels. The seat belt set are a vast improvement over the kit supplied etched brass. They are colored and multipart and build into great replicas

I found the wheel wells as presented in the kit parts perfectly fine, but if you are into bending, forming, etc, these are for you. They are quite different from the kit parts and include more detail but will take work to get to fit. For instance, you have to remove the well door hinge attachment points and install the metal ones! I have never had much luck hanging heavy plastic parts onto metal with super glue or any other glue for that matter. This is similar to the process used on the 1/48 scale Eduard kits.

Kudos to Eduard for another group of sets that in the hands of a dedicated modeler will greatly enhance his Me-110. My thanks to Jan Zdiarsky and Eduard for the review samples. Almost forgot! A comparison of the instructions of the Dragon Me-110-C with the newer Me-110-D shows a complete compatibility of all the parts of the parts concerned in these frets. In other words, you can use these set in the E and D models!
