Having used several of the Eduard interior sets before (most recently the interior set for the 1/32 Tamiya F-4D), I have grown to like them for their detail and simplicity. This F-4E self adhesive set is the first of their Self-Adhesive series I have used and I applaud Eduard for their ingenuity. This set includes parts for the instrument panels and items for the side panels.

I have used super glue, white glue, and, most recently, Future, to attach photo-etch to itself and to the model. Future works well with large, flat pieces, but not so with vertical attachments. The advantage of the self adhesive is there is nothing wet, so there is no distortion when aligning sandwiched parts, such as instrument panels. The adhesive also seems to be pressure based, so the more pressure applied, the harder the parts stay together. The backing sheet also helps with trimming the parts since there is less chance of a piece flying off once trimmed.

The only drawback that I found is that there is not much adhesive on the very small parts and these had to be glued with the above mentioned media. Also, two of the three yellow and black striped t-handles went flying out of the tweezers while trying to attach them and I only found one.

I definitely recommend this set for use in 1/32 Tamiya F-4E cockpits.
