MSRP: $22.95 Website: www.eduard.cz   Eduard Item #33039 Eduard Photo Etch Color Interior Kit. In my opinion that’s all one has to see and the review is over! I say "over" because how much can one talk about the awesome fit, the correct coloring, the minute detail and the excellent quality? Mention the term, "photoetch", and for many the first company that come's to mind is Eduard. The kit includes an instruction sheet and one metal sprue, which contains the parts for detailing the recommended 1/32nd scale F6F-3 Hellcat kit from Trumpeter. Although the Trumpeter kit is recommended it should fit other F6F kits as well. On the sprue is a set of seatbelts, side console details and a 2-piece instrument panel, which is to be attached to the kit’s panel. When assembled, this instrument panel has a 3-D effect, which looks like the real thing. These parts are designed to stick with a press of a finger. Sometimes a little persuasion may be necessary with the help of C.A. glue if the pieces are handled incorrectly and the backing is no longer tacky. The installation of the parts was straightforward and the fit was spot on. There is just enough in this kit to give the cockpit a sense of realism without overdoing it to a point where it becomes overwhelming. It also leaves the modeler a chance to become creative by leaving "room" to add your own details. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone building the Trumpeter 1/32 F6F. The MSRP is $22.95 but I have seen it for $16.49 at Squadron. Big thanks to the people at Eduard for this review sample.
