Not too many kits offer an open avionics bay in this scale but Hobby Boss does and their pre molded detail looks pretty good. That is, until you see what Eduard has to add. I was so impressed with it that I bought the Eduard A7 detail set stock # SS326 which is also pre painted. I couldn't see having all this detail in the avionics bay and not having a nice looking cockpit and other detail around the rest of the plane. The only problem I had was that when I opened up the bag on the avionics set the instructions were for an F-16 cockpit. But with Eduard you don't have to worry because you can go straight to their web site and download any of their instruction sheets. Problem solved in about 2 minutes. Well I'm almost finished with the model and I am really happy with the way that the avionics bay looks. When I started I got out my bending tool so that I could get straight lines when I bent the pieces. What I didn't know was that the tool was totally unnecessary because the Eduard parts were scored well and you could bend them perfectly with only a pair of tweezers. This made the whole process more enjoyable, and a lot faster. I would like to thank Eduard for a really nice product which I would highly recommend to anyone. They really make it easy to get a higher level of detail on a kit. And thanks to IPMS USA for the chance to review this product.
