Brass Landing Gear for the 1/48th Scale Hasegawa FA 18 E/F Hornet

MSRP $21.95 Website: www.gfactormodels.com Fellow members, this is a new set of cast brass landing gear from G-Factor. It is very finely cast and is jeweler quality. I am sure most of you have heard of G-Factor before but if you haven't you might want to take a closer look. They are superb and fit like a glove and need very, very little prep before installation. All the is needed is to just run the back of a #11 blade across the very few minor mold seams and finish up with some 400 wet dry. Remember you are working with metal here. I would also advise you clean it in lacquer thinner, then soap and water to get it clean enough for painting. Ernie Gee has another winner on his hands here and has certainly made my job of building the landing gear a lot easier. These units paint up real nice and a dark wash really brings out the detail.
