MSRP: $4.99 Website: www.mawdecals.com This is a simple resin add on set from "MAW DECALS" that adds several resin parts to make an updated F/A-18 Hornet. This particular set is part #48-R011, which is the update sets for non-IFF Hornets. Non-IFF means Identification Friend or foe. In the kit there are 2 aerials; one is added on top of the fuselage and one on the bottom, as well as a GPS dome and a gear door with a faired antenna on it. The Gear door is only used on the "C" model Hornet, the rest of the set can be used to update any of the "A" Through "D" models. Of course you will have to check your reference, but these are basically the ticket for this update as used by the Marine Corp. There are no instructions in the set but if you go to www.mawdecals.com, they will send you a few pictures of the correct location. The resin parts are very high in quality and will look great on any kit you are building. Remember they are for the "A" through "D" versions. The "E" and "F" models are a whole other ballgame!!! These are highly recommended and very easy to work with.
