1/32 F-105 Belly Strake and Ejection Seat For the Trumpeter F-105 Kit.

1/32nd Scale F-105 lower aft belly strake Quickboost QB 32-064 MSRP: ~$US 4.90 1/32nd Scale F-105 ejection seat Quickboost QB 32-067 MSRP: ~$US 8.95 Website: www.quickboost.net Both of these additions upgrade the basic Trumpeter F-105 Kit. The first is an extremely simple addition; the kit's lower aft belly strake is not formed correctly, both in profile and plan view, and the Quickboost strake is a quick fix for this error. The photo shows (from top to bottom) the kit strake still attached to the model, and the Aires corrected item below it. Cut off the kit strake, fill the slot with your favorite method, and superglue the strake in place. "Simple". The second addition is the ejection seat. This is a superb representation of the real thing; comprised of eight parts, this seat is a perfect addition to your cockpit; no parachute is included in the back pan (F-105 drivers wore backpack-style chutes) so it is accurate for an aircraft without a pilot in it. I have shown the finished QB seat, next to the kit item for comparison. The last pictures are of the seat installed in the Avionix cockpit with Eduard Photoetch for details on the instrument and switch panels (Great combination!).
