The Ju-87D was used as a nocturnal bomber towards the end of the war. The big issue with any aircraft is the highly visible exhausts. Junkers provided the Stuka with long tubes that encased the exhaust stacks and hid the exhausts. There were at least three different variations of this exhaust. Quickboost provides you the capability to replicate all three of the exhausts.

All the sets are cast in light grey resin that are blemish and bubble free mounted on very thin casting blocks. All the sets have gorgeous detail in the intake and exhaust portions of the tubing. The exhausts are easy to add by simply separating them from the casting block and adding to the kit. In the case of the Type A exhaust you will have to add two pieces together, certainly in the capabilities of most modelers. They mount the exact same way as the kit parts. Now onto the particular exhausts.

[review image] [review image] As I mentioned above, the Type A exhaust consists of two parts per side with a curved collection tube and a flared cylindrical exhausts. It is quite unique looking and the most prolific nocturnal exhaust.

The Type B exhaust is identified by the exhaust end being flared about half way up the bent portion of the exhaust all the way to the end of the exhaust.

The Type C exhaust is identified by a flare midway on the bent exhaust portion. It is quite unique looking.

These exhausts make the entire process of doing the exhausts relatively painless. There is no filling, and better yet, the modification to the kit parts is done for you. Not only is it done but it is masterfully done.

Highly recommended
