As with most of their sets, these are both designed to be more refined and detailed ‘drop fit’ replacements for kit parts. Gun Barrels (QB 32 046)

A set of two gun barrels is included in this set intended to be direct replacements for the kit barrels. Not only is the detail crisper, the ends of the barrels are hollow – which means the pin vise can stay in the toolbox. I did find some small casting residue in one barrel that necessitated some minor clean up. The sleeve to fit over the wing leading edge is also more sharply refined which, if attached carefully, will preclude any filler during assembly. D/F Loop Antenna (QB 32 047)

This offering is a marked improvement on the kit part as you can see in the pictures. Not only will you be able to skip the annoying pin marks, you will be adding a late mark variant that includes a DF loop in the base on the antenna. Of course you will need to check your references to determine if this set is correct for the markings that you wish to portray. The antenna has sharp details and comes in a cream color resin, a change from their usual grey color. Thanks to Quickboost for the review samples.
