MSRP: $8.50 Website: www.quickboost.net Looking at all of the Quickboost updates that I have assembled for my 1/32 Ju87D-5N I am kind of reminded of the episode from M*A*S*H where Radar was sending a jeep home one piece at a time through the mail. Certainly Quickboost has been releasing all sorts of goodies to make our lives easier and this release is no exception. I hate assembling round pieces from 2 halves – it is always difficult to ensure that the pieces are aligned and to sand the seams without creating a flat spot. This release from Quickboost is designed as a drop-in replacement for the exhausts in the Hasegawa Ju87D-5N. Both exhausts are crisply molded and are easy to remove from the molding gates. An additional bonus is the inclusion of the intake screen detail that is a major omission in the kit parts. They drop into place with absolutely no modification to the kit, making this a painless upgrade. Quickboost has also released two other versions of the night exhausts to provide the modeler with options to do other variants of the JU87D-5N based on references. An excellent value for the money.
