Website: www.quickboost.net QB 48-251: 1/48 Junkers Ju-88C/G Gun Barrels, MSRP: $6.50 I hate hollowing out guns and I'm not very good at it. So when a product comes along that does that task for me, I'm all over it. Quickboost has made this simple, yet for me difficult, task easy. Simply add these light grey resin distortion free resin guns for the Schrage Musik on the spine of the kit and you are done. There is very little clean up just remove the guns from the pour block and paint. Simple yet an effective fix.

QB 48-252: 1/48 Mosquito FB Mk.VI Nose, MSRP: $6.50 This particular upgrade is designed for the 1/48th scale Tamiya Mosquito. The Mk. VI typically had four .303 guns in the nose but occasionally two of them were removed for weight savings. This particular set shows this particular setup. The two center guns are kept and the two outer ones are faired over. Molded in light grey bubble free resin this simple conversion just involves replacing the kit nose with the resin one after cutting off the two outer guns.

QB 48-254: 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf-109K Exhaust, MSRP: $6.50 The exhausts of the Messerschmitt Bf-109 are always a prominent part of the nose. Quite simply the Hasegawa offerings are simplistic at best. Quickboost provides you a great little replacement set for this kit. If you are like me you have a hard time getting consistent depth and shape when you try to hollow out the kit exhausts. Well Quickboost takes care of that for you and me. Their exhausts are perfectly hollowed out. Molded in light grey resin the exhausts are perfectly shaped for the Hasegawa exhaust shields. They will require no additional modifications. Simply remove the exhausts from the pour stubs, paint and attach. This simple addition will enhance your 109 easily and inexpensively.

QB 48-256: 1/48 Spitfire Mk. IXe Cannon Barrels, MSRP: $6.50 Hasegawa's Spitfire Mk. IXe kit despite the fuselage shape problems is a very nice kit. There are some simple modifications that can add to the kit. One issue is that the kit guns are not hollowed out and don't convey the true nature of the wing armament. This simple set molded in blemish free light grey resin has all four guns molded with hollowed out ends. The parts simply replace kit parts G32 and G33. Nothing could be simpler. If you are looking for an easy way to upgrade your Spitfire this is just the ticket. If you are looking for a way to get your feet wet with your first resin upgrades this set is a great way to get your feet wet.
