Quickboost has a long history of producing some of the finest resin aftermarket parts… and their new 1/72 Fw190A/F gear doors are another hole-in-one. The parts are finely sculpted, featuring fine detail on both the inner and outer surfaces. The doors are properly scaled for thickness and the attachment points to the pour block are conveniently done along the bottom edge of the doors, so none of the fine detail will be damaged with sanding. Though the set claims to be recommended for the Revell kit, I compared the set to an old Academy Fw190D-9, and the doors fit perfectly. I’ve always been impressed with Quickboost’s level of detail, and these doors surprised me. I didn’t think you could improve on the detail of landing gear doors, but I was proved wrong.
