MSRP: $8.50 Website: www.quickboost.net The Accurate Miniatures Yak-1 is a really nice model. To set yours apart from the pack you may want to consider adding dropped flaps. Quickboost makes this relatively easy. This set requires a little more work than many Quickboost sets. Nothing difficult just some thinning of the upper wing area and cutting the lower flaps from the lower wing. Certainly within the capabilities of experienced modelers. The molding is flawless and exquisite. All the lightening holes no matter how small are perfectly executed. Molded in blemish free light grey resin the flap trailing edges are very nicely reproduced and realistic thin. You get two sets of flaps, naturally. The flap well and the flaps are beautifully slotted for easy addition to the model. If you want some additional detail on your Yak this is just the ticket. Highly recommended.
