MSRP: 2.50 Euro [$3.45 USD] Website: Quickboost Quickboost just keeps adding to their great line of quality resin aircraft accessories. The latest addition is for the Fujimi A-4 Skyhawk and is up to Quickboost’s usual standards, smooth, seamless and bubble free. One thing of note is that they are really easy to remove from the mold block because of a nice perforation; it practically fell off of the mold block. It is a welcome plus if you have ever sat at your desk sawing on a thick mold block hoping you don’t get it going crooked and sawing into the part. The Fujimi fuel probe would make a good representation on the finished model but the Quickboost part is far superior. It is more detailed at the nozzle end and looks more like the real thing. It isn’t just a drop in part in that it doesn’t fit the connection hole perfectly, leaving just a tiny gap above and below the connection point. To fix this I used a little Mr. Surfacer applied with the point of a toothpick and touched up the paint after it dried. I highly recommend this product if you want a really superior looking model. It was easy to install and didn’t need too much additional work to make it fit. Thanks to Quickboost and IPMS USA for the chance to do this review.
