MSRP: $5.00 Website: www.quickboost.net Quickboost does it again! Anyone who builds scale models for a hobby surely knows about the high quality of their products, which they put out on the market. Products, which enhance any kit part they replace and are more accurate than the original part. In this case I’m speaking of the exhaust pipe replacement kit for the Bf 109G-10. This light gray resin casting is flawless and contains no bubbles whatsoever. This is a direct replacement for the original part with crisp detail and hollowed out pipes for exacting accuracy. As in other small Quickboost pieces I have used in the past, I have found it best to weather the exhausts on the block first then cut them off. They are placed in such a way on the block that it will be easy to cut and sand without much effort. When you compare the price to the improvements that this exhaust gives to the model, you realize that it is well worth the price. The hollowed out pipes alone is worth the price when considering the huge possibility of ruining the original if you try to drill out all those pipes. I highly recommend this upgrade, which should also fit other Bf109 kits as most of their products do. They can be bought directly from Quickboost’s website.
