MSRP: $3.37 Website: www.quickboost.net I have collected several incarnations of Fujimi's Spitfire Mk. XIV over the years. They are good kits and for the most part accurate. I had thought that the kit exhaust were acceptable, until the Quickboost Spitfire Mk. XIV round exhaust came my way for review. You see I had planned to simply drill out the kit exhaust, but the level of detail on the new Quickboost exhaust is light years ahead. The ends are already hollowed out and the subtle flange detail really pop. Check out the comparison photo of both exhaust. The Quickboost exhaust fit perfectly to the Fujimi fuselage and cowl and are just direct replacements for the kit exhaust- see photo(dark colored plastic). Also I was pleasantly surprised that these exhaust also fit the new Airfix Spitfire PR 19 as well- see photo(light colored plastic). So if you can't find the "Meant For" Quickboost exhaust for the Airfix PR 19 these will substitute perfectly. I recommend this latest Quickboost update for the Fujimi Spitfire Mk. XIV family, I plan on getting more for my fleet.
