In the usual Quickboost fashion, these are cast as a pair in a 'cradle' of resin that protects the parts before use. Removal is easy with a razor saw. The worth of these sets is the hollow ends that much better replicate the real thing than any kit exhausts I've seen in this scale. The fishtail aspect is finely replicated and careful painting will be well rewarded. These features give a much better effect, and for the small price to pay, are a worthwhile investment for your Academy Spitfire. Highly recommended.
